We were commissioned by this client to produce the glass bowl and rind from a Vladimir Kagan drawing.

I worked for this client for over a year prototyping, designing and supervising the production of glass for her luxury home product line. The product line included lamps, tableware, vases, small-scale sculpture and large-scale objects like room dividers and mirrors.

The client asked us to work with Eva Ziesel to produce a series of pendant lamps for their flagship coffee shop. We worked closely with Ziesel, prototyping to her artistic satisfaction, as well as fabricating all the coffee shop's lamps to UL standards.

This client asked us to produce an object, she had previously made in plaster, in glass that can float in water. Working closely with the artist we developed a system where each bubble is attached together hot to produce a beautiful buoyant sculptural object.

This client gave us precise measurements to accommodate a custom-built vending machine. After blowing the glass, the top of the globe was polished and drilled precisely.

This client asked us to produce glass for three identical light fixtures, each requiring 78 amber glass leaves measuring as long as 29" and 1800 glass spheres of various sizes. We delivered the whole order on time in 9 weeks after receiving final okay.

This client approached us with a very rough drawing of a wrecking ball requiring a 30" width and access to the interior enabling him to place debris from Havana Cuba inside. We hand blew the sphere with a 6" opening and designed a mechanism that held the cap in place, giving the artist a beautifully simple hanging solution.

This client requested a chandelier for above the dining room table with only two specifications. It was to be white and produced in the Venetian style. Intended for a coastal home, I incorporated traditional Venetian bowl, light cups and armbacks, but diverted the design of the chandelier arms to reflect the coastal setting. Thus, each arm reaches out in a random pattern, amorphous and almost jellyfish like. In addition, an elongated glass stem to the ceiling and a custom made finial completes the natural illusion.
